All leaseholders and residents can become members of the NPWLRA. Only leaseholders who pay the variable service charge have a right to vote, with one vote per flat
The landlord, the landlord’s representative, any company controlled and/ or connected to / by the landlord, nor any employee of the landlord is NOT eligible to become a member of the Association
Membership shall be open to all leaseholders and residents/tenants regardless of nationality, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, disability or religious or political belief. All members of the Association will abide by the statement of equal opportunities
We strongly encourage you to attend the meeting in person
However, if you are really unable to attend, you may vote by proxy. To do so, please send an email to the Secretary at secretary@npwlra.co.uk with the following information:
Your name (leaseholder)
Your flat number
Your instructions: e.g. I wish to nominate the NPWLRA Secretary to vote on my behalf
OR the name of the person you would like to nominate to vote on your behalf (e.g. You may nominate the Secretary or anyone who are members of NPWLRA). You can either specify who you would like your proxy to vote for, or you can simply request that they vote for all candidates standing for the election, by writing "vote for all candidates standing for the election"
Please note that each proxy is limited to a maximum of three representations
